Donald Trump’s return to the White House is set to reshape US foreign policy, promising potentially radical shifts on multiple fronts as war and uncertainty grip parts of the world. During his campaign, Trump made broad policy pledges, often lacking specific details, based on principles of non-interventionism and trade protectionism - or as he puts it “America First”. His victory signals one of the most significant potential disruptions in many years in Washington’s approach to foreign affairs in the midst of parallel crises. After over a month of preparations, the Russians initiated a new wave of counterattacks to recapture Malaya Lokhnya from two axes of advance, with the engagement of North Koreans. However, Ukrainians took advantage of the operational pause, enabling them to fully prepare some of their most elite units to face the Russian assaults. The Russian plan in this area was to advance four kilometers along a paved road toward Malaya Lokhnya, aiming for the town near the settlement of Pogrebki. A second route was planned to the west of Malaya Lokhnya, advancing via the road from Novoivanivka. Gaining control of Malaya Lokhnya would allow the Russians to cut off Ukrainian forces positioned north of the town and secure a large northern area, thereby extending their counteroffensive southward toward Sudzha. Some of Ukraine's most elite and experienced units, including the 47th Mechanized Brigade, 82nd Airmobile Brigade, 17th Mechanized Brigade, and 80th Airmobile Brigade, were tasked with defending this area. Given these units’ expertise and strong leadership, they anticipated repeated large-scale Russian mechanized assaults along the paved roads to Malaya Lokhnya. Recognizing that the Russians could only attack from two directions due to the limited road access, Ukrainian commanders prepared by deploying substantial drone units and implementing remote mining along these routes to counter the assault. As anticipated, the Russians launched a major assault north of Pogrebki along the road to Malaya Lokhnya, deploying around fifteen BTRs and over 150 soldiers from the Russian 810th Marine Brigade, reportedly with North Korean troops. The assault hit landmines immediately, wiping out the first three vehicles and an entire platoon before reaching Ukrainian-controlled areas. By the time Russian forces entered Pogrebki, five of the fifteen BTRs had already been destroyed by landmines alone. Ukrainians then destroyed nine more BTRs around Pogrebki using a combination of drones, landmines, and RPGs, forcing a desperate Russian retreat. Only one BTR managed to reach the rear but was soon eliminated, marking the total destruction of the Russian column. Published footage by the Ukrainian troops from the area reveals that North Korean Type 73 machine guns were discovered scaterred around the eliminated column. This discovery implies the gradual inclusion of North Korean soldiers in Russian storming operations, as their numbers of deployed fighters are slowly growing in Kursk. Anticipating a coordinated Russian assault from Novoivanivka to align with the attack toward Pogrebki, Ukrainians deployed tanks from the 17th Mechanized Brigade to disrupt Russian force concentrations preparing for the offensive. Combat footage shows Ukrainian tanks conducting a raid on Russian positions in nearby forests. After effectively neutralizing these assault forces and eliminating the threat, the Ukrainian tanks withdrew without incurring any losses...

Here, Ukrainians perfectly executed a complex tactical maneuver to eliminate the Russian spearhead while maintaining their combat potential, leading to the complete encirclement of the Russian assault group. The Russian relief operation launched on the Ukrainian flanks also ended in disaster, leading to Russian casualties soaring to an all-time high. As you may remember from the last report, Ukrainians completely dismantled the Russian mechanized assault on Malaya Loknya, destroying 15 armored vehicles with mines and drones. Still, Russians managed to penetrate quite deep into Ukrainian territory, driving through multiple towns in the northern part of the salient. Ukrainians realized that holding on to settlements in the face of such a large Russian mechanized attack would come at a high cost to Ukrainian forces. This led to Ukrainians temporarily abandoning the settlements and pulling back toward better positions. If we look at the topographic map, we can see that the road and settlements leading to Malaya Loknya run through the lowlands, surrounded by forests and hills to the west and east. Ukrainians withdrew from the settlements to the high ground, letting the Russian convoy pass through, and allowing it to be destroyed by previously placed mines and FPV drones. Russians dropped off several smaller infantry groups in the settlements they drove past. The Russian plan was for these groups to take up an all-round defense and secure the road for additional reinforcements to pass through in the future. However, these groups were left vulnerable and without support after the mechanized forces were destroyed. Meanwhile, Ukrainians had saved their combat power by not engaging the Russian assault outright, and were in a much stronger position in the forests and on top of the hills. As Russians did not have enough soldiers to cover the settlements completely, Ukrainians rapidly moved into the gaps and encircled the Russian soldiers stuck in the settlements. Russians realized the disaster that was unfolding and sent in several armored vehicles to break through to the encircled soldiers. Unfortunately for Russians, this time, Ukrainians did not allow the Russians to pass through, as geolocated footage shows several Russian armored vehicles being destroyed by Ukrainian defenders. Russian military analysts later confirmed that no reinforcements were able to break through to their soldiers and that these groups had been fully cut off for days, relying solely on supplies dropped from drones. To salvage the situation and turn the tide of the battle, Russians increased the pressure on the Ukrainian western flank, launching five waves of mechanized assaults on Novoivanovka in only one day. Here is where Ukrainians inflicted massive casualties on Russian forces, destroying 18 out of 29 Russian armored vehicles in the process. Still, Russians were able to land several infantry groups in the settlement and the tree lines around it, posing a substantial threat to the Ukrainian western flank. Ukrainians promptly dealt with the Russian threat by sending in several mechanized assault groups, supported by Bradley Infantry Fighting vehicles, to clear out the Russian positions. Impressively, the Ukrainian modifications to the Bradley’s armor allowed them to shrug off several hits by Russian FPV kamikaze drones, and safely deploy their infantry to clear the positions. The original uncensored combat footage of the Ukrainian counterattack can be found on our Telegram channel through the link in the description. Overall, Ukrainians demonstrated expert control of the situation and their movements, allowing them to gain tactical superiority over the Russian assault forces. Executing a maneuver, such as withdrawing from the settlements and returning, during actual combat, takes expert timing and coordination, which is only possible with well-trained and rested soldiers. Russian casualties soared, as Ukrainian soldiers noted that Russians had lost over three hundred men during their failed assaults on Novoivanovka and the subsequent Ukrainian counterattacks. Russian analysts were also among the first to state that Ukrainians had effectively localized the threat of the initial Russian spearhead and took back control over the settlements. Now, the only danger to Ukrainian operations is the fact that the encircled...

Here, in a daring raid, Ukrainian forces made the biggest drone attack yet against Moscow. Ukrainians continue to use their latest drone developments to target critical Russian infrastructure, including airfields, oil depots, and military bases. The goal of these is to disrupt Russian offensive operations against both the Ukrainian armed forces and the country's civilian population. First of all, Ukrainian drones targeted Russia's capital, Moscow. According to Russia’s Ministry of Defense, 84 Ukrainian drones were intercepted over six regions, with nearly half approaching Moscow and causing flights to be diverted from three major airports in the area. This was the largest attack on the Russian capital since the start of the war and was described as massive by local officials. Footage released by residents, who defied government orders, not only contradicted official claims that no damage occurred but also showcased the aftermath of the strikes, including the operations and locations of Russian air defense units. Officials reported that most of the drones were intercepted over the Ramenskoye, Kolomna, and Domodedovo districts. The Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that 34 drones were shot down over the town in total. Earlier Ukrainian forces struck Russian ammunition warehouses in the Bryansk region during another large-scale drone attack. The Ukrainian General Staff reported that drone operators of the Unmanned Systems Forces successfully hit warehouses at the Russian military’s 1060th Logistics Center, known for storing missiles of various types, causing initial explosions and secondary detonations at the facility with geolocated imagery showing two large fires burning near it. Bryansk was also targeted 10 days before that when one of the largest microelectronics plants in Russia caught fire after a drone strike. This plant is located over 100 kilometers north of the border with Ukraine’s northern Sumy region and was attacked at least once before as well it produces key components used widely in Russian defense production, including Pantsir air defense and Iskander missile systems. The full uncensored footage of these Ukrainian strikes against key Russian infrastructure can be found on our Telegram channel through the link in the description. In parallel, Ukrainian forces have maintained a series of strikes on military training camps in Russian border regions, seeking to disrupt Russia's efforts to train newly mobilized troops. These operations are often executed with high precision, aided by reconnaissance drones for fire correction. One recent strike targeted a tent encampment at a Russian military training ground in the Rostov region, with geolocated video footage revealing significant damage. Russian military officials reported that the attack took place overnight, catching many soldiers from the 150th Guards Motorized Rifle Division while they were resting in their tents. Lately, Ukrainian forces have escalated attacks on Russian military positions, both within Ukraine and across the border, frequently focusing on such training grounds to weaken Russian capabilities. On the night of November 7th, units from Ukraine's Main Military Intelligence Directorate executed a significant drone strike on an oil refinery in Saratov Oblast, reportedly causing damage to the facility's infrastructure. Social media footage captured a fire near the refinery, while a local Telegram channel reported that debris from a downed drone struck a fuel oil tank and a specialized installation. The refinery, a subsidiary of the Russian state oil company Rosneft, is said to produce approximately seven million tons of oil annually. A similar attack was conducted on the Aleksin Chemical Plant in Tula Oblast with 13 drones causing a fire, halting the plant's operations, and eventually causing a chemical explosion. This key factory produces ammunition, gunpowder, and other products for the Russian defense industrial base. Around the same time, Ukrainian military intelligence drone operators carried out a surprising long-range attack on a Russian naval base in the Dagestani port city of Kaspiysk using their domestically produced A-22 Flying Fox drone. The base houses Russia's Caspian Flotilla, along with Russian Marines and Coastal Troops. Reports indicate that the strike damaged at least two vessels—the...

Ukraine could develop a nuclear bomb if US President-elect Trump halts military aid to Kyiv, as per a Ukrainian govt internal memo. Kyiv could use plutonium to make a nuclear bomb in a few months, an analytical memo prepared for Ukrainian defence ministry said. It would be similar to the Fat Man bomb dropped on Nagasaki in 1945, the Ukrainian memo added. “Creating a simple atomic bomb, as the US did within the framework of the Manhattan Project, would not be a difficult task 80 years later,” the document reads. The report explains that Ukraine lacks time to build and launch large-scale uranium enrichment facilities amid war. As a result, Ukraine would have to rely on plutonium extracted from spent fuel rods removed from its nuclear reactors. The report states that the amount of plutonium available in Ukraine is sufficient to make hundreds of tactical warheads. #ukraine #zelenskyy #trump #russiaukrainewar #kyiv #crimea #warnews n18oc_world n18oc_crux 0:00 INTRODUCTION 3:54 CAR BOMB KILLS RUSSIAN NAVY COMMANDER IN CRIMEA 5:10 RUSSIAN TROOPS CLOSE IN ON DONBAS TOWN CRUX is your daily video news guide to the big events that are shaping our world.
